The idea is to slowly journey through the different baths, creating a circuit of relaxation and calm for yourself, with the result being a rebalancing of both body and mind. There is the bubbling Balneum – also named the ‘bath of a thousand jets’ (as if it has been conjured out of an ancient fairy-tale) – and a Flotarium, a salt bath where you can totally let go and submit to the magical feeling of floating unaided. There is the warm water bath of the Tepidarium (36☌), the slightly hotter Caldarium (40☌), the cold of the Frigidarium (14☌) and the steamy surrounds of the Vaporium. Down you go in the lift, and after changing into swimwear, you will be able to experience the thermal baths, which are set at varying temperatures and offer differing sensations. This worshipping at the altar of relaxation is where your experience at AIRE typically starts. You move through the different thermal baths, which are set at different temperatures.
